(ex: Florence, Positano)
A: We used this villa for one week with two other couples and each couple had their own bedroom and all the privacy we needed. There is only one house on the property and it was large enough for all of us. It is secluded with a vineyard and olive trees all around the home. We found it a convenient home base for daily trips to varous hill towns throughout Tuscany.
A: We rented the entire week so I am unable to answer your question. I can tell you that the villa is almost always booked and I suspect that they would need to charge the weekly rate because if you weren't there, they would be able to rent on a weekly basis.
The innkeepers are very professional. I would suggest that you tell them that you can only rent for a week and that you plan to stay at a local hotel for the other three nights. You could then ask them "if" the villa is available would they consider extending your stay at a per diem rate.
A: I don't think I saw daily rates for Donatella when I booked our week. It might be something you want Rentvillas to address with the owners. Since you are staying over a week they may be amiable to charging you for three or four days instead of an addl week. But since they generally rent by the week, it would mean having the villa empty for a portion of a week (until the next Saturday) and losing a few days rent. It is a lovely villa and you won't be disappointed.
