About The Experience

This two-bedroom apartment is located in a residential neighborhood making it an ideal place for a family or couple. This apartment, which is surrounded by a courtyard with flowers, is within walking distance of the Champs Elysees. Bright and well-equipped, you should have everything you need while on vacation in a cozy spot.

Location Description

The apartment is located in Paris’s 17th Arrondissement, Malesherbes perhaps best known for its Rue des Batignolles, home to town hall and once a neighborhood flocked to by many of the Impressionists all those years ago. You’ll find shops and restaurants, but what is great about this location is that it is still within walking distance of the Champs Elysees and the Arc-de-Triomphe. The Champs Elysees is a long street famous for its designer boutiques and upscale restaurants. The nearest metro stops are Ternes and Argentine, making trips to the Moulin Rouge and the Louvre convenient.

Nearby Attractions:The city of Paris! Explore Paris on foot to find the hidden treasures of the city of light. Unknown too many are the Beehives of the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg – hit the beehives at the right time in the fall and you’ll be able to purchase the honey. The popular cocktail bar, Les Etages, has two “branches”, one located in the Marais; the other in St Germain. The covered market, Marche St.-Quentin, dates back to 1860, and has 30 plus stalls of mouth- watering cheese, baked goods, meats and more. La Perlerie is a tiny store offering bronze and silver bracelet and necklace charms and you can assemble your jewelry right in the store. For some of the best steak frites of Paris, stop by Le Relais de l’Entrecôte, known simply as l’Entrecôte, but expect a wait of at least a half-hour.

Customer Reviews

We had a wonderful time and thought the apartment suited our needs.
Enjoyed Most:
The courtyard outside the apartment made for quiet space from the street, which was welcome at night.
Enjoyed Least:
The water heater going out almost every day was annoying. Editor's Note: The water heater was replaced in June, 2012.
Surrounding Area:
Being able to walk to the bakery, cheese shop, grocery and nearby Metro was wonderful.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring soap, shampoo/conditioner, and maybe some TP.
We took a taxi, and his GPS helped.
Check In Out:
The concierge did his job well. It would have been nice to have some direction when leaving as to where to find a taxi or the best bus to get us to the airport.
