About The Experience
This lovely apartment is located in a residential complex and overlooks the village of Positano. There is a bus stop right outside the building making trips into town convenient. The apartment is bright and furnished in contemporary style and has a lovely balcony with great sea views. There is also a shared outdoor pool with sea views.
Location Description

Positano possesses a dream-like quality that truly must be experienced to be understood. The charming pastel residences sit along narrow, winding roads on steep hillsides overlooking the Mediterranean. The village of Positano is located in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Amalfi Coast, and the valley opens up to an equally magnificent stretch of coastline. At the center of the pedestrian maze of cobblestone alleys and steps, you can see the traditional brightly colored dome of Santa Maria Assunta, the main church of Positano. If time permits, hire one of the small boats which will transport visitors to secluded bays only accessible by boat. Wander in to the many colorful boutiques, quaint cafés, restaurants, and wine bars. Be sure to try some of the town’s very popular Limoncello!

Please Note: While the Amalfi Coast is beautiful and charming, it is also steep, with many uphill and downhill stairs and walkways. In general, it is an area that is not kind to those of us with knee or mobility issues. This should be considered before booking a property in this area.

Nearby Attractions:
Bus stops in town can take you up and down to other beautiful towns along the coast, including Amalfi. Amalfi is a town that dates back to the 6th century and was once an important trading center with historical and medieval architecture throughout the town. The main sites include the Duomo, in Amalfi's center, the cathedral of Sant' Andrea, which dates back to the 11th century, and the Cloister of Paradise. Three kilometers above Positano rests the small village of Montepertuso—perched on cliffs 1000 feet above sea level. Accessible by bus or stairs—an aerobic challenge!—you can admire beautiful views and see the legendary hole in the mountain; one of only three in the world. There are also a few restaurants. During the summer months, there are daily ferries leaving from Positano to Capri, Sorrento, and Naples.

Enjoyed Most:
The view, balcony and well equipped kitchen.
Enjoyed Least:
It's a long way from town.
Surrounding Area:
The view, weather, food.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Positano - not really walkable. You need to understand the bus system quickly.

Great restaurants generally. Make sure you understand the buses.
Check In Out:
All ok. Parting with EUR300 as a deposit seemed a bit unusual.

Absolutely super in every way!!!
Enjoyed Most:
All the amenities from plenty of towels, soap--both kitchen and bathroom. Super new mattress that was nice and firm. AC in every room, spices galore, generous food drink for snacks, etc. It was like walking into someones home who readily lives there. We loved the shared swimming pool that allowed me even to swim laps.
Surrounding Area:
Case Tea is above Positano. What more would one desire if you like that for a vacation.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Positano.....again, this area of Italy is all about walking up down steps constantly WHEREVER YOU GO. Please be aware of that. Thank god the buses taxis are super accommodating friendly off the charts!!!
Tips or Restaurants:
Just bring yourselves to Casa Tea. Lucia mother met us at entering and she was one ball of light.

Casa Tea is an excellent villa from which to experience Positano and the Amalfi coast. Lucia is an excellent hostess and the villa is very comfortable. The views from the veranda are gorgeous, the villa is clean and well kept, and the gated community is safe and quiet.
Enjoyed Most:
The views and the quiet, which were exactly what we hoped for. Though the villa is up on the mountain side, the local bus stop is only 100 meters down the hill, which is important when returning to the villa. The walk down the hill to downtown Positano is about 1.3 miles (2Km) and since it is down hill very enjoyable with views at every step.
Enjoyed Least:
Everything was great. There is no bathtub if that is important to you but the shower is fine. Visitors must realize that the Amalfi Coast is built on the side of mountains. This provides great views but means you are always walking up and down STEEP hills. If climbing 300 or 400 steps to get to the villa from the town are a concern you need to understand the bus route and timing.
Surrounding Area:
The views and the simplicity of taking the SITA bus to both Amalfi and Sorrento. Positano is SMALL, though beautiful. Thus there are not a lot of things to do other than relax and enjoy. Sorrento is bigger and has more options. The SITA bus which runs every 45 minutes or so can take you to either one in 45 minutes and costs 1.7 euros each way.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Positano is about 1.3 miles below the villa compound. As previously stated walking TO town is easy as it is down hill. Coming back is an entirely different proposition.
Tips or Restaurants:
Good walking shoes and if you like hiking, actual hiking shoes or boots are better than tennis shoes. Everything is casual so no dress up for a trip to the Amalfi coast. Nocelle is 5 km further up the hills from the villa and that in itself is a wonderful walk with amazing views. Or you can take the bus to Nocelle (1.3 euros each way) and hike the Path of the Gods, which is a 3.5 mile (6km) hike each way, and if you are in shape to do it, something you should not miss. Restaurants: Almost any restaurant is good from pasta or seafood. Our favorites were Constantino which is only 100 meters down the road from the villa compound entrance. A family restaurant whose owner speaks English and he and his family are wonderful people who serve excellent food at reasonable prices. Also Il Saraceno D'Oro was excellent and about halfway down the road to town. If you go to Capri (recommended) it is better to take the bus to Sorrento and the ferry from there as the Positano ferry is only once per day each way. I do not recommend a car as the local transit is very good and you have to be crazy to drive on those roads.
There is only one road from Positano to Nocelle so it is really hard to get lost. The villa has WiFi(very good) and if you do not want to get a big phone bill you can rent a hot spot. However as the villa has WiFi a data package on your phone is probably the best cost route if available.
Check In Out:
It was easy as pie. Lucia takes good care of her guests.
