Nicely located apartment. The outdoor terrace was great.

Twin beds in one bedroom.
Surrounding Area:
Right in the middle of historic Rome so it was easy to find all the wonderful sights.

Lots of restaurants in the Campo dei Fiori. All good.

No, we had a driver and it was easy. It should be noted that the building is in a pedestrian zone.

Cathy, September

Overall:
Excellent experience. Hassan met us outside the apartment and went through everything we needed to know about the property. They were very accommodating to let us stay an extra couple of hours on our check-out date.
Enjoyed Most:
Very clean, lots of room for the five of us. Nice to have the air-conditioning!
Enjoyed Least:
The grout in one of the bathrooms could have been cleaner.
Surrounding Area:
Campo de Fiori was two minutes away. We enjoyed the fresh food market during the day and restaurants in the evening.
Nearby Events or Locales:
We were within walking distance of all major attractions. Plenty of grocery stores and bakeries nearby.
Tips or Restaurants:
Great property. You will need to bring your own soap and shampoos. They have outlet converters but if your family is like ours with all the iPods, you will need to bring a few.
Directions:
We were met at the airport so we didn't need directions. Hassan gave us a small map of the area with suggestions for grocery stores, bakery, etc.

Nicole , August

Overall:
We loved the property and would rent it again for any future trips to Rome.
Enjoyed Most:
The rooftop view was amazing!
Enjoyed Least:
The towels were rough. (Yep, that's all the negative I have.)
Surrounding Area:
We could walk to almost any Rome site. The Vatican was a bit of a hike, but we still enjoyed the views on the way.
Tips or Restaurants:
Take the Cooking Class In Rome classes. It's within walking distance of the apartment and is a great "non touristy" thing to do.
Directions:
Meeting Hassan at the apartment really helped. We just told a taxi driver to take us to Camp Dei Fiori and that's all we needed.
Check In Out:
Taxis can't drive directly to the apartment door so you'll have to cart your bags a little distance.

Visit the market in Campo dei Fiori early and take advantage of the fresh produce, cheese and wine.

Enjoyed Most:
Location, cleanliness, good air conditioning, nice outdoor patios.
Enjoyed Least:
Lack of paper products and lack of any basic kitchen ingredients.
Surrounding Area:
Nightlife in Capo di Fiori. Reasonable walking access to most everything.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring/buy basic kitchen ingredients.

Michael, July

Overall:
It was very enjoyable. The outside patios were very nice and offered a nice view. The local agent was very professional in checking us in and was waiting for us when we arrived. The taxi driver took us to our front door, which based on the width of the street was a miracle.
Enjoyed Most:
The location is excellent. Easy access to the various sites in Rome.
Enjoyed Least:
The noise in the area at night was troubling. We finally determined that if we closed the windows and turned on the air conditioner it would block out the noise. Also, the bathrooms could have been cleaner when we arrived.
Surrounding Area:
There was easy access to restaurants and shops as well as being within walking distance of many of the major sites. It did not appear that a grocery store was close. The walk was a little long to be carrying groceries.
Check In Out:
The local agent did a fine job of checking us in and describing all of the features of the property and the surrounding area.

Michael , June

Overall:
We loved Rome. We only stayed three days but will definitely return and stay longer! We spent most of our time squeezing in tours of the Vatican Museums including of course the fabulous Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica, as well as the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. We actually had very rainy weather in May which put a bit of a damper on our tours especially the outdoor ones. We suggest booking tours in advance for the Vatican, but for the Colosseum there were many people hawking tours there and although we had booked tickets, we added a tour on the spot. So just as easy to get a ticket-tour combination and thus avoid the very long lines although there will still be the shorter tour lines.
Enjoyed Most:
The location was great. Very centrally located, close to the action of Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona and walking distance to the historic district. We loved that we were in the top floor apartment and had two roomy balconies that had great views.
Enjoyed Least:
The third bedroom is very tiny, really more a garret room tucked on the second floor and the birds like to fly near the windows, making noise. This property is a bit more worn looking than it appears in the pictures, although it is certainly sufficient. There was very little water pressure in the shower nozzle of the bathtub. The "Satellite" TV did not have very many channels to choose from.
Surrounding Area:
People sometimes complain about the noise and I guess it's true, but we just found the area fun and lively and we very much felt we were in the heart of Rome. There were lots of restaurants and shops around.
Nearby Events or Locales:
As I said, we only had three days in Rome, so we concentrated on enjoying the city.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring soft tissues. A restaurant we liked in Rome is the Osteria del Angelo on Via G. Bettolo. tel 06 372 94 70.
Directions:
The local agent was good.

Dale, May

Enjoyed Most:
It is very well situated. Most major attractions of the city are in easy walking distance. The apartment is well laid out with two private terraces with lovely views. Very comfortable and inviting.
Enjoyed Least:
Nothing about the property itself. But it is located in a very busy area that encourages a good deal of carousing at all hours of the night. Very loud on the weekends.
Surrounding Area:
IN the immediate area, the Campo De Fiore and Palazzo Farnese and Piazza Navona were all very enjoyable. We spent a good deal of time in Trastevere, just a short walk to the Ponto Sixto bridge.

Carlos, October

Overall:
We would rent this one again. It was our favorite apartment on the trip.
Enjoyed Most:
The roof top patios were our favorite, especially at night. The size was larger than expected with plenty of room for us and 3 kids. Kitchen and bathrooms were modern. The location was a good as you would want - right in the heart of Rome. We walked almost everywhere.
Enjoyed Least:
It could get a little noisy at night.
Surrounding Area:
Having the Campo Dei Fiori at our doorsteps was great. The market in the morning was a big favorite . Trastevere, across the river, was fun and an inexpensive spot to eat.
Tips or Restaurants:
There is a supermercato close by. It closes at 8:00pm. We had to hurry our first night to get some basics in the apartment. For cat lovers there is the cat sanctuary at Largo Argentina a few minutes away. It is also where you catch the street car and buses .

Bill, September

Overall:
Would definitely go back.
Enjoyed Most:
Excellent location. Walking distance to many attractions: Colosseo, Piazza Venezia, Trevi Fountain. Great night life at Campo de Fiori! Shopping just outside the door. Wonderful restaurants, bakery, deli. Loved the location. Owner manager very helpful. Arranged a driver, extra linens, waived cleaning fee.
Enjoyed Least:
A bit dirty.
Tips or Restaurants:
Well equipped with all necessities. Read the guest book on end table. It's full of suggestions and visitor favorites.
Check In Out:
Very accommodating.

Doug, July

Overall:
The property is well-kept, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with sufficient plates and cooking utensils, etc.
Enjoyed Most:
The location. This was our third stay at this property. It's central location has been a big reason for our return.
Enjoyed Least:
There really is nothing we did not like!
Surrounding Area:
The daily market in Campo dei Fiori, several good restaurants and shopping.
Tips or Restaurants:
Restaurants: Il Gattopardo, Via dell'Arco del Monte, 94 Campo dei Fiori. It's located on the side street that leads directly to Ponte Sisto. It's specialty is Sicilian specialties. The nearest grocery store is closed on Sunday, although there is a slightly smaller grocery on Via dell'Arco del Monte that seems to be open when the other is closed.
Directions:
We made arrangements for private transfers.
Check In Out:
It was a very smooth process.

John , June

Enjoyed Most:
I liked the location, and the architectual design of the place. Also the two roof-top patios were really a great asset.
Enjoyed Least:
Though I didn't use it,the others in my party had trouble drying clothes in the dryer.
Surrounding Area:
For me, it was the market, closeness to a lot of the attractions
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring good comfortable walking shoes, and start walking to get toned up before coming.
Check In Out:
The people who let us in and checked us out were very helpful.

Ken, January

Overall:
I enjoyed Amerigo very much. Each room was comfortable, well lit, and very, very nice. The kitchen was a delight to be in. I bought fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat in the Campo di Fiori, and of course flowers for the table on the terrace. I had Italian lessons every day on the terrace, and at noon, the bells chimed from several churches. It was magical! I could just walk out a few feet to every kind of shop -- sweaters, wine, jewelry, coffee. I was a 7-minute walk to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Ghetto. The owners of the building were very nice and helpful. I left a CD player there. I hope it will be there for your next guests. I was there for 3 weeks, and never got tired of being there.

Linda , November

Overall:
Great terrace with good views and outdoor eating.
Enjoyed Most:
Location in Rome's Historic district. Easy access to all major sites by walking.
Enjoyed Least:
Second bedroom was very small.
Surrounding Area:
Everything food, shopping, and transportation all close by.
Tips or Restaurants:
Only one bath towel provided per person.

Joe, October

Overall:
We loved the location and would return in a heartbeat!
Enjoyed Most:
The terraces and the location to the Campo de Fiori.
Enjoyed Least:
The entrance...lots of grafitti.
Surrounding Area:
The Campo dei Fiori and the proximity and walking distance to most of Rome's major attractions and sites.
Tips or Restaurants:
Your suggestion list was followed and it was PERFECT!
