Customer Reviews

Location, location, location! Fantastic views, fantastic people! We arranged for on-site massages for our party upon arrival--a must for the planes, trains, and automobiles adventure that is international travel. Following the massage, we had arranged for a chef (Who was, BTW, amazing in accommodating our various dietary needs) -- all made for a fantastic arrival. The driver and rental agent met us promptly despite air delays and the agent was super-personable and offered to make additional tour arrangements as needed. At least 3 great restaurants nearby, a bakery, and corner market to stock the kitchen.
Enjoyed Most:
The view(s). The cave apartment was super-cool beds were very comfortable daily housekeeping a plus.
Enjoyed Least:
The water is not potable, and the septic situation were minuses but in no way impacted our stay.
Surrounding Area:
At least 3 great restaurants nearby, a bakery (with coffee to go), and a corner market to stock the kitchen. ATV and car rental are also right there.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Imerovigli was our town and was fantastic. There is a village between Fira (a 10 min walk) and Imerovigli with a great boat charter (do spend a couple extra bucks and charter the whole boat) and restaurant. Skip Fira proper -- it's a cruise tourist-trap.
Tips or Restaurants:
6 days and you can see the whole island. The Greek people are lovely and welcoming. If you enjoy the food of the Med, you'll always have a good meal if you avoid the super-touristy places. Trip Advisor was a good litmus test.
Driver and "bellman" service was perfect.
Check In Out:
Rental agent was amazing.

This property was spectacular with gorgeous views, great outdoor spaces and comfortable accommodations.
Enjoyed Most:
The view of the sea, the outdoor sitting area and the appeal of a cave house.
Enjoyed Least:
Bathroom doors need blinds as well as master bedroom. I realize you are trying to get light in because it is a cave house however there should be blinds to pull down when in use.
Surrounding Area:
The view was spectacular and there were numerous restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The villa is in Imerovigli and Fira (the main town) was an easy 30 min walk.
Tips or Restaurants:
Jackie was great with suggestions for us. The villa had everything we needed.
RentVillas arranged for a driver at the airport so everything was smooth and easy.

We had a wonderful time in Santorini and at the Villa Giada. The villa is very nice and it was very comfortable. Interesting concept--two cave houses. Santorini white wines are incredible!!!
Enjoyed Most:
The privacy, the views, the location, the size, and having four bathrooms for the four of us. The chef we hired for two nights to prepare dinners for us at the villa.
Enjoyed Least:
The fact that we were told on arrival that we could not put toilet tissue in the toilets. Had we been told about this prior to booking, we might not have booked this villa, especially at the price. Editor's Note: Septic and sewage treatment systems are antiquated throughout the Greek islands and pipes are clog-prone and narrow. As a result, it is common practice to dispose of toilet paper in the provided receptacle.
Surrounding Area:
Our location in relation to Imervogili and Thera. The several restaurants within walking distance the shops. The views of the general area were fantastic. We rented a car for the week and used it daily to explore the island and have lunch at the many great restaurants around the island.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Imervogili. The villa was on a cliff in the town. Thera was also within walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
Rent a car and pick any restaurant, especially one with seafood fresh daily. Do wine tastings at several wineries. The sunsets are amazing.
Rent a car thru the onsite property manager and they will pick you up at the airport and take you back. They have an arrangement with a car rental agency that is literally two minutes from the house. We parked our car at the car rental agency when not using it.
Check In Out:
The process was fine. No problems.
