Customer Reviews

My clients loved the property! They spent many hours visiting in the kitchen while they cooked.
Enjoyed Most:
They loved the beautiful windows and gorgeous views. It was very peaceful and quiet.
Enjoyed Least:
The only difficulty was initially finding the villa. After many attempts and texts with Julia, Julia finally drove to a nearby gas station and they followed her to the property. They fell in love with the property immediately as all the lights were on and it made a very lasting first impression!
Surrounding Area:
They loved the ceramic factories in Montelupo Fiorentino. A young man from a shop in town took them to his family's factory, and they had a splendid afternoon there. They also loved the gelato shop in Montelupo Fiorentino.
Nearby Events or Locales:
It was necessary to drive to Montelopo Fiorentino, but they loved the town. They said the market in Empoli was amazing!
They did have a GPS and the I-map application on their phone. They knew they were close, but the road into the property is hardly a road, and it is very difficult to spot!
Check In Out:
My clients loved the young woman who met them at the property - Julia. There had been a huge storm in the area shortly before their arrival and they did need to ask her to come back the next day to reset some things that had been knocked out due to the big storm. She came with her friend Lorenzo within 15 minutes, fixed everything promptly and efficiently, and they talked endlessly about how charming they were. I really sensed that this was one of the highlights of their trip - interacting with this wonderful couple who could not have been any more helpful!

We loved the villa! The location is excellent with a 5-minute commute into town, 30 minutes to Florence, and 30 minutes to Pisa. The villa is well furnished, very private, and located within a olive grove and vineyards.
Enjoyed Most:
The salt water pool was absolutely clean and perfect for the kids. We spent many nights after dinner playing in the pool.
Enjoyed Least:
Surrounding Area:
The towns of Limite e Capraia, Montelupo and Empoli are excellent small towns with good resources. Check with Francesco at the villa for the address of the gelateria in Montelupo - it is to die for!
Nearby Events or Locales:
Closest town is Limite e Capraia - could be walking distance but it is best to drive back and forth.
Tips or Restaurants:
Believe it or not, the town of Limite e Capraia has an excellent German restaurant called Lowengrube. This is a must!
We used GPS to get to the villa. The turn onto the road to the villa in Limite e Capraia is not well identified - without GPS we would have missed it. It is good to know that the road from Limite e Capraia to the villa is essentially 1 lane and turns from a paved road to a dirt road.
Check In Out:
Check in and check out went flawlessly. Francesco and Eva were excellent hosts!
