Customer Reviews

The property was fabulous. The view was the best ever and the managers were wonderful. Giovanni took such good care of us we hated to return home.
Enjoyed Most:
The location and view - peace and quiet - too much to mention.
Enjoyed Least:
There was nothing we didn't like.
Surrounding Area:
Positano is so peaceful, laid back, and plenty to do if you wanted to do it and if you didn't you just relaxed. Close distance to many historical places i.e. Pompeii, Naples, and the Amalfi Coast just right there.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Positano - it is within walking distance if you are in really good shape - up and down cliffs - not for those who are not physically fit.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring beach towel, wash cloths if you use them (none in Italy), have food/groceries prestocked if possible. The delis have food and will deliver to the villa at no charge; Max restaurant was the best and Next2 restaurant was also very good.
Directions were perfect.
Check In Out:
With this villa the management is so wonderful there is no problem checking in or out. My husband suffers from Parkinson's disease and we had no problems at all even though his walking ability is not perfect. We had no problems because the management was so helpful always.

Everyone was VERY impressed by the outdoor areas and the view.
Enjoyed Most:
The view was stunning. The pool and outdoor patio were fantastic.
Enjoyed Least:
Ants in the outdoor area. The elevator took us to the beach area, but you could only reach town via water taxi and the lower elevator closed at 6: 00PM. The local mini mart was a good walk.
Surrounding Area:
It was quiet, serene, well kept and beautiful
Nearby Events or Locales:
Positano is definitely not in walking distance. We cabbed it everywhere; many restaurants had free pick-up service.
Tips or Restaurants:
If you are not in shape - don't go to Positano. Every restaurant was better than the one before - but our favorite was Donna Rosa Do bring a beach towel and comfortable walking shoes/sneakers.
We used the recommended van service. Fabio was great. We also used him during the week. Can't say enough good things about him.
Check In Out:
Hotel Le Agavi staff helped us with our bags and the local agent was very helpful.

Ted, September

Staying at Villa Venere made this once-in-a-lifetime trip the best vacation we ever took together as a family. We were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary with our children and grandson, and couldn't have celebrated it better!
Enjoyed Most:
The layout of the rooms allowed each family unit a good amount of privacy. The beauty of the property itself and it's view are unparalleled.
Enjoyed Least:
The bedrooms could have been a bit larger, but they were certainly adequate.
Surrounding Area:
The beauty and proximity of many sites to see, including Mt. Vesuvius, Pompeii, Naples, Positano, and Capri.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Positano...and we were right there. Walking in Positano can present a welcomed challenge, but so worth the effort.
Tips or Restaurants:
Have a great time. RentVillas has taken care of everything needed to have a stress-free vacation. As far as restaurants go, there were none that weren't excellent.
The directions provided by RentVillas were enough to get us there, without getting lost.
