This delightful Amalfi Coast holiday accommodation is located on the way to Torello, one of the most ancient hamlets around Ravello. This Amalfi Coast apartment provides you with a large rooftop terrace, ideal for sun-seekers, with superb views over part of the historic citadel town and the sea beyond.
ExteriorDescription
The coastal resorts of Maiori and Minori sit more than 200 meters below this apartment on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. The furnishings are of a high standard and include some genuine antiques. The rooms are comfortable and clean with terracotta tiled floors throughout. Access: From the main road to Ravello, there are 37 steps down to the main gate and then 24 steps up to the entrance door. Location: The apartment is 2.5 kms from the Piazza Vescovado in the center of Ravello, accessible by car or on foot about a 20 minute ascent up a steep, ancient street of stairs. A local bus service runs every hour from the entrance to the tunnel outside the Garden Hotel for the hairpin descent to the beaches at Castiglione, Atrani and Amalfi. Distances: Ravello 2.5 Km, Amalfi 7 Km, Positano 24 Km, Salerno 30 Km, Sorrento 39 Km, Naples airport 60 Km, Rome airport 320 Km. From Amalfi (April-October), boats and hydrofoils ferry between Salerno, Positano, Sorrento, Capri, Ischia and Naples. Blue SITA busses cost about 1-2 euros, depending on destination. Stops are marked with a blue and white SITA sign. The small internal bus (orange mini-bus) of Positano is marked by a brown FERMATA sign. Driving times are: Ravello to Amalfi, 15 minutes; Amalfi to Positano, 30 minutes; Positano to Sorrento, 35 minutes.
InteriorDescription
Entrance is into a small sitting room with a fireplace and glazed French doors opening onto a balcony. From there a flight of steps leads to a series of balconies on a higher level and eventually to a roof terrace with stunning views and a working pizza oven.
4 steps down from the sitting room is a nice new, modern kitchen, with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, dining table for 4, and door to an adjoining terrace furnished for al fresco dining. 10 steps down is the bathroom, with shower and washing machine. Five more steps down is a spacious double bedroom with a wide window with a view over the sea and countryside. Amenities: Satellite TV, stereo, oven, washing machine, CD player.

Security Deposit
- Upon arrival at the property you are required to pay to the property representative a security deposit payable by cash or traveler's checks in euros. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure minus any extra charges or accidental damages to the property. The listed security deposit is: 300 EUR
Additional Expenses
- Mandatory weekly cleaning fee of: 60 EUR
- If available, telephone is extra and charged according to consumption.
- If you arrive between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm, the following amount will be deducted from the security deposit: 25 EUR
- Electricity charged according to consumption.
- If you arrive between 10:00 pm and 12:00 am (midnight), the following amount will be deducted from the security deposit: 50 EUR
Other Notes
- Extra maid service is usually available upon request and is paid locally
- If available, heating is allowed by Italian law only from November 1 to April 1 with exceptions made for extreme weather
- No arrivals accepted after 12:00 am (midnight).
- If available, cook service must be arranged at least two months prior to arrival and is subject to the availability of the cook.
- CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO GIVE A PHOTOCOPY OF THEIR PASSPORT TO THE LOCAL MANAGER WHEN THEY ARRIVE AT THE PROPERTY.
