- Location Description
This apartment is located in Paris's Eighth Arrondissement and is steps away from a large selection of shops, restaurants, bakeries, and markets. Within walking distance is the Champs Elysees, a long street Famous for its designer boutiques, upscale restaurants, and monumental Arc de Triomphe. Also in the neighborhood is Place de la Concorde, which is the largest square in the city and offers incredible views over Paris. The nearest metro station is at Ternes, which is along the blue line making visits to the Moulin Rouge or the Sacre Coeur extremely convenient.
Nearby Attractions: The city of Paris! Explore Paris on foot to find the hidden treasures of the city of light. Unknown too many are the Beehives of the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg – hit the beehives at the right time in the fall and you’ll be able to purchase the honey! The popular cocktail bar, Les Etages, has two “branches”, one located in the Marais; the other in St Germain. The covered market, Marche St.-Quentin, dates back to 1860, and has 30 plus stalls of mouth- watering cheese, baked goods, meats and more. La Perlerie is a tiny store offering bronze and silver bracelet and necklace charms and you can assemble your jewelry right in the store. For some of the best steak frites of Paris, stop by Le Relais de l’Entrecôte, known simply as l’Entrecôte, but expect a wait of at least a half-hour!

Sixth Floor (with elevator): The living room has a sofa bed (most suitable for one), armchairs, and a TV. A dining room has a table with chairs and the kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. There is one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
Upper Floor: A staircase leads up to two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed (160 cm), and one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub.

- Upon arrival in Paris, the local property manager will take an imprint of your credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) to cover any extra charges or accidental damages to the property.
Additional Expenses
- For stays longer than one week, extra maid service is available for an additional charge, for a minimum of two hours per day. The hourly cleaning fee is: 30 EUR
- Arrival Fee (after 8 pm or on a Bank Holiday) Payable upon Arrival: 75 EUR

Overall:
The apartment was lovely and in a safe, quiet area of the city. The complex shares space with several medical offices and the courtyard was bright and inviting! Comments made by others who rented helped us settle into our home away from home. Knowing locations of most local grocery store and pharmacy is instrumental to settling in.
Enjoyed Most:
The area was very quiet at night, which made sleeping soundly a breeze! The apartment was large enough for all 5 of us to relax at the end of a busy touring day in our own space! Having a washer and dryer AND 2 bathrooms was a treat! My brother had 6 crammed into a 2 bedroom apartment on the other side of the city and ours was double the size!
Enjoyed Least:
The living room furniture is looking a bit tired.
Surrounding Area:
We walked to the Arc du Triomphe several times at night just to hang around or see the city at night from the top! It is a very short walk from the apartment. We were also able to jog down the Champs-Elysees! The metro is a block away! Grocery store, bakery and Starbucks are walking distance!
Tips or Restaurants:
Franprix (grocery store) is about two blocks away from the apartment. Head down the street towards the DO RE ME cafe then take a right. The grocery store is on your right. It was nice that previous guests left dish soap, spices, paper towels, and some toilet paper, but this should not be expected. Ziplock bags were good to have on hand!
Directions:
We arranged for a cab via Rentvillas.com. It sure was nice seeing my name on a sign after a long overnight flight! We were so impressed with our driver that we arranged to hire him later in the week for our return to the airport. He went above and beyond for us all.
Check In Out:
We appreciated being able to check in to the apartment earlier than expected. Our key holder did cover the entire apartment, including how to sign on to the internet. We had our introductory tour as the cleaning company was arriving to clean up after the last tenents.

Enjoyed Least:
There was no AC in our bedroom. There was only a fan. Apparently the AC unit was broken and had not yet been repaired. Editor's Note: The unit was repaired right after the client left.
Surrounding Area:
There are many stores and cafes.

Overall:
Very good. The flat became our home for a couple of weeks.

The place is modern, large, and clean. It's location in a great neighborhood.

There is nothing to dislike.
Surrounding Area:
There is a great little market about 400m east of the property.
Tips or Restaurants:
Use the market to get fresh food and great wines. The Diplomat is a great restaurant if you can get a table. The restaurants serves high quality, plain French food.
