The apartment is located in a historic palazzo which was completely restored in 1998. The building features a large entryway and a courtyard with a small communal garden area.
InteriorDescription
(105 m2) Third floor (with elevator). Two levels.
First level: There is a large, elegant living room with a marble fireplace; a dining room; a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, gas stove, fridge/freezer, American coffee maker, and dining table; one double bedroom; and a bathroom with tub.
Second level: There is one double bedroom (can be separated into twin beds) with sky window, and a bathroom with shower.

Security Deposit
- Upon arrival at the property you are required to pay to the property representative a security deposit, which will be authorized on a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex). The security deposit will be refunded within one week of your departure from the property minus any extra charges or accidental damages to the property. The listed security deposit is: 600 EUR
Additional Expenses
- If available, telephone is extra and charged according to consumption.
- Arrivals between 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm must be arranged in advance and clients will be charged a late arrival fee of: 20 EUR
- Arrivals after 9:30 pm will be charged a late arrival fee of: 40 EUR
Other Notes
- Departures must take place before 9:30 am
- If available, heating is allowed by Italian law only from November 1 to April 1 with exceptions made for extreme weather
- If you arrive outside of the acceptable arrival times you may be charged a late arrival fee
- CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO GIVE A PHOTOCOPY OF THEIR PASSPORT TO THE LOCAL MANAGER WHEN THEY ARRIVE AT THE APARTMENT.

Overall:
The Correggio apartment in the Palazzo Duomo was an ideal place for my family.
Enjoyed Most:
We liked the proximity of the property to the central part of Florence. We appreciated the quietness of the apartment. We liked the brightness of the apartment during the day.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The attic rooms got somewhat hot, and opening the windows let in a lot of bugs.
Surrounding Area:
We loved the Natalano restaurant around the corner, the fact that the grocery store was so close, and the general accessibility by foot to all things in Florence.
Tips or Restaurants:
Renters should bring washcloths if they use them. A decent restaurant that is very close to the apartment is Natalano. The Vignolo gelateria and Grom gelateria - both really close by, are terrific. A number of blocks away, and off the beaten path, VinOlio and del Carmine's were our favorites among restaurants.

Overall:
We were very pleased with the spaciousness of the apartment and its quietness. We liked the location very much. It was close to a grocery store and because of the cost of eating out we cooked a lot of our meals. I enjoyed watching tennis and baseball on the sports channel. We were pleased that there were electric outlet converters even though we brought our own.
Enjoyed Most:
Location, quiet and space.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The washing machine was very difficult to figure out.
Surrounding Area:
Loved the location to the grocery store and some fine restaurants and a WiFi free zone and an Internet cafe and to Vivoli's Gelateria, simply the best gelato in the world.
Tips or Restaurants:
We had everything we needed.
Check In Out:
It was not that easy for us to make telephone calls yet it seemed to be a requirement to make a connection with the property manager for check-in. I did not realize that 20 yards down the street was an Internet cafe where I could make a call.
