Ground Floor: This traditional Tuscan farmhouse has plenty of space and all the amenities. The living room, complete with two couches (one of them a sofa-bed) and Kilim rugs, sports a beautiful open-beam ceiling and other antique furniture. Exposed stone walls lead into a dining room with a table for four. In one corner an old circular staircase leads up to the first floor. Beyond the dining room is a kitchen, decorated in antique blue and white terra-cotta tiles and equipped with an Italian coffee machine. Here is everything you need to prepare your own authentic Italian cuisine—including the modern convenience of a dishwasher! There is also a smaller table for informal meals. Step outside the kitchen door and prepare an open-air meal with the terra cotta and stone barbeque; eat outside at the provided table and chairs.
First Floor: Upstairs, spend a cozy evening in the second living room (entrance hall), warming yourself at the fireplace or curling up with a book on the daybed (suitable for sleeping one). On one side of the living room is a bathroom and bedroom with a queen-size bed. On the opposite side is another bedroom, this one with two twin-beds. Bathrooms are located off of the dining room on the ground floor and next to the double bedroom (bed is queen-sized) on the first floor (accessible from the upstairs living room and double bedroom). Each is equipped with a toilet, bidet, shower, and sink.

We could have been more adventurous but went to Siena and Florence. My friends loved the air ballooning. I wish we had gone to Greve. We enjoyed the restaurant Antica Fiaschetteria dei Chianti di Negri Marco in San Casciano, and the Casa Mia just up the hill.
