About The Experience
Gorgeous panoramic views, a private swimming pool, and elegant furnishings are only three reasons why three couples should rent this villa in the Italian region of Veneto. Situated on three different levels, there is enough room for everyone to each enjoy a sense of privacy and tranquility, especially since each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. A beautiful outdoor setting with resort-style chairs and sun loungers will surely win you and your group over when you're not out visiting the nearby towns of Venice or Verona while staying at this self-catering accommodation.
Location Description

This villa is located one kilometer east from the center of the village of Asolo where there are local artisan shops, boutiques, restaurants, and markets. Dating back to pre-Roman times, Asolo has had many famous people as residents, including the English poet Robert Browning. At the end of the 1400's, it was home and prison to the Queen of Cyprus, Caterina Cornaro, who now has a castle named after her that is open to the public. Other notable sites include the Cathedral, which was built in 1747, and the City Museum. Asolso is also a great place to take peaceful walks to enjoy the scenery. During the summer months, there are live concerts and music festivals. The medieval town of Treviso is about a 20-minute drive from the property and it's a definite place to visit due to its charm. While canals, squares, and frescoed houses line the streets, there are designer stores, art galleries, ancient churches, and wine tasting opportunities. Other possible day trips include Padova, Venice, and Verona.

Nearby Attractions: Asolo (shops, restaurants markets, castle, cathedral, museums, summer concerts), Treviso (art galleries, shops, churches, wine tasting, frescoed houses, canals), Padova, Venice, Verona.

Loved it.
Enjoyed Most:
The very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff, even with the language barrier.
Enjoyed Least:
Probably the stairway to the upper level for sleeping. Poor WiFi connection.
Surrounding Area:
Short distance to all nearby communities.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Palaia not within walking distance for us.
Tips or Restaurants:
Our trouble seemed to be with the GPS navigation devices we brought with us from the USA.
Check In Out:
None - very easy check-in & check-out.

Excellent! We enjoyed the property and the view. Because it was warm, the pool was a nice relief at the end of day.
Enjoyed Most:
Overall, the house met all our needs for the 3 couples. It is well maintained and nicely furnished. A real bonus was the AC, a clothes dryer, and the pool.
Enjoyed Least:
The drive up to the property, at first, was unnerving. We did adjust quickly and we did have a very large van.
Surrounding Area:
The town of Asolo is beautiful with good shopping, restaurants, and historical sites. We traveled around to all the towns nearby.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Asolo. Can be walked to but we didn't.
Tips or Restaurants:
Used TripAdvisor for good restaurant finds. One restaurant we found by accident ( not on Trip Advisor ) in Asolo, is Henry's Bar. Wonderful food, seasonal cooking by young enthusiastic chef and great wait staff. The owners of Cafe Centrale Produce their own olive oil. Their farm was closed for the week when we were in Asolo.
Meeting key holder at Cafe Centrale was very easy. We did use GPS through out or trip going place to place.
Check In Out:
Checking in and out very easy.

Just wonderful! Very pleasant, professional check-in; we met at the nearby town and were escorted to the house. Beautiful property, very well supplied and easy to enjoy. Extensive outdoor areas that allowed for people to spread out and enjoy reasonable privacy. Wonderful, easy pool and air conditioning made the stay delightful despite extremely hot weather. We just stayed and relaxed!
Enjoyed Most:
Hard to pick! The rooms were all delightful...great for three couples....and the pool was a hit with all.
Enjoyed Least:
Bathroom on the upper level was not air conditioned...due to he unusually hot weather, AC or a fan would have been appreciated. Relatively challenging drive up the hill with a couple of blind switchbacks, made a bit scary by dump truck traffic due to some stone work being delivered just below the house.
Surrounding Area:
Close enough to Venice to go for the evening and Asolo, nearby, is just charming. La Rocca made for great pictures... The view from the house was magical! Several villas by Palladio nearby.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Asolo, a picturesque village with a great small plaza, small history museum and several lovely restaurants. Several small nice shops, gourmet food store and several cafes. Walking down relatively easy, uphill was tough for some.
Tips or Restaurants:
Dinner in the terrace garden at the Hotel Cipriani
Meeting at the Cafe Centrale is problem getting there.
Check In Out:
Great on site coordinator.
