Location Description

This apartment is in an ideal location for day trips throughout Tuscany and the Chianti. Lucolena is the nearest village at about one km away. Lucolena has one small food shop, one pharmacy, and a pizzeria. Dudda has a restaurant and tiny food shop (attached). Greve, the unofficial wine capital of Chianti, is less than a 10-minute drive away and is a town full of wine shops. This medieval town is believed to have been settled since before the Etruscans and the Romans dominated the area. Each September, Greve hosts the biggest wine festival in the region but it’s also famous for its funnel-shaped, arcaded Piazza Mercatale that has a statue of the 16th century explorer, Verrazzano, in the center. Chianti, known for its production of red wine, is full of specialized wine shops, wine tour opportunities, cooking classes, restaurants, museums, and castles. A train station is also located eight kilometers away in Figline that can take you to Florence in 20 minutes. The supermarket in Figline is open on Sunday, which is very convenient! Also nearby is a Fashion Outlet. A car is essential for this property.

This hamlet of four apartments, located behind the main villa (separate with its own garden and pool), is situated in a peaceful and tranquil position with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. There is a shared garden, BBQ, and swimming pool (15m x 7m) which is open from the beginning of May to the end of September. Parking is available within the property grounds.

Second Floor: This apartment is accessible via an external staircase. The entrance opens to the living/dining room with an armchair and sofa, satellite TV, and a fireplace, as well as a table with chairs. The kitchen corner is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. There are three bedrooms: one has a queen-size bed (160 cm), one has two twin-beds, and the third bedroom has onesingle bed (90 cm). There are two bathrooms, each with a sink, toilet, and shower.
