About The Experience

Traveling in a larger group may get pretty hectic at times but the pros definitely outweigh the cons, especially if you choose to stay at this Tuscany farmhouse! Furnished with antiques and comprised of seven bedrooms, choose to cook for yourselves in your large kitchen or have someone prepare something delicious for you, right in the comfort of your home. Only adding to its greatness is the fact that this farmhouse in Italy is within walking distance of Sant'Albino di Montepulciano.

Location Description

Just 800 meters from the farmhouse is the village of Sant Albino di Montepulciano where there are thermal spas, grocery stores, butcher shop, bars, and restaurants. Four kilometers away is the center of Montepulciano, which like Many Tuscan towns, is known to produce great wines. Many of the buildings date back to the 14th century but the castle is believed to date back to the year 715. Customer Reviews

Fantastic. The villa exceeded our expectations. The kitchen and dining area were amazing. Very well equipped.
Enjoyed Most:
The Tuscan charm. It was so spacious with plenty of room for individuals and couples and group activities. The grounds including the pool were beautiful and very well kept. The views were breath taking. We appreciated the wine and olive oil to purchase on site if we wanted to.
Enjoyed Least:
Really nothing.
Surrounding Area:
We toured Montepulciano several times and went to Pienza twice, visited hot springs and rented vespas one day. The scenery was beyond beautiful.
Nearby Events or Locales:
St.Albino was within walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
Be prepared for an enjoyable time. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant down the road - we called it The Sad Cookie because of the logo (sorry). We enjoyed dinner at Osteria Acquaceta - make reservations. We had a lovely coffee and croissants at an elegant old restaurant in Montepulciano (sorry, name escapes me).
We did use a GPS and it worked well.
Check In Out:
This process worked very smoothly.

My wife and I were traveling with our adult children and grandchildren. The twelve of us were immediately captivated by the villa and surrounding landscape. Our entire family agreed that this was the perfect villa for our vacation.
Enjoyed Most:
Every room in the villa provided the perfect amenities for the needs of our family. Each bedroom was beautiful decorated. The kitchen was warm and inviting and served as the family focal point inside the villa. The patio and swimming pool provided us with beautiful outdoor spaces.
Enjoyed Least:
Everyone of us agreed that the only downside of the villa was having to leave after one week.
Surrounding Area:
The location is close to surrounding hill towns and the beauty of the landscape cannot be matched. Each day we could explore a different hill town and be back to the villa to enjoy swimming and preparing dinner together.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The town of Sant' Albino is a short walk from the villa. It was actually larger than we had expected and had a grocery store, bakery and restaurants.
Tips or Restaurants:
Everything our family needed at the villa was provided. We found it very convenient to have the town of Sant' Albino so near us. The grocery store owner and his wife were most helpful when shopping for our food. The local bakery had great pastries and breads. There were several restaurants that has tasty pizza. Our favorite meal was at Tre Stella restaurant and it was terrific.
Although the directions were clear, we used the GPS in our van and had no trouble finding the villa. I would suggest looking at the property on Google Earth prior to you trip.
Check In Out:
Both were flawless. Silvia, the owner of the villa, met us with open arms when we arrived was there prior to our departure. We, really, cannot say enough good things about Silvia and the warmth we felt. We would go back in a heart beat!
