Customer Reviews
Overall:
Further away from Rialto Bridge and St. Marks Square than we would have liked, but overall positive experience.
Enjoyed Most:
Quiet area and close to the water bus stop. We found several good restaurants in the area.
Surrounding Area:
Everything, it's Venice!
Nearby Events or Locales:
Murano?
Tips or Restaurants:
Take time to sit and enjoy the music on St. Mark's Square. Well worth the time and money!
Directions:
We used a private water taxi.
Check In Out:
Had problems trying to use our cell phones. The taxi driver was kind enough to contact property manager.

Overall:
We had a wonderful time in Venice. The villa was perfect for our family. We had everything we needed, including private outdoor space.
Enjoyed Most:
The location and the outdoor space. We were in walking distance of everything while being only a few blocks from a water bus stop.
Enjoyed Least:
The mosquitos were relentless and the windows don't have screens. If you close the windows it gets very stuffy. I would suggest using repellent before going to bed or bringing mosquito netting. Editor's Note: RentVillas recommends plug-in repellent devices available at any Italian grocery store; brands to look for are Vape and Baygon.
Surrounding Area:
Absolutely everything. We were right next to a beautiful church and near stores and restAurants.
Nearby Events or Locales:
There are other islands easily reached by water bus.
Directions:
The water bus was very easy to use and our villa easy to find.

Overall:
Everything we hoped for. Great location, quiet, and lovely neighborhood. The kitchen was wonderful. It was so pleasant to walk back to the property. About two canals away you began to feel the crowds disperse and the tranquility begin.
Enjoyed Most:
Location, location, location.
Enjoyed Least:
Second bedroom was cramped with large bed and the second bathroom has only a tub with handheld nozzle. The beautiful antique furniture almost made us uncomfortable sitting around on it. Unfortunately one of the chairs had a nasty stain on the cushion.
Surrounding Area:
Easy access to restaurants in the next canal. Lovely church next door with Tintoretto's tomb. So quiet. Felt like a local living there. The Vaporetto stop was very near, and walking to St. Marks Square was very enjoyable. Large grocery store was very convenient once we found it the first time.
Nearby Events or Locales:
We were in Venice.
Tips or Restaurants:
Plenty of restaurants on the next canal. Walk out the front door, go over the bridge, and the osteria has tables in square!
Directions:
For first timers, it might be helpful to explain the ticketing for the vaporetto. The walk from the train station wasn't too bad, even with luggage.
Check In Out:
The staff was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.
