This self-catering accommodation is situated at the entrance of Florence’s historical city center and is within walking distance of some of the city’s most popular attractions, such as the Piazza Santa Croce, and is perfect for a family of four. It’s nice to note as well, that although you’re close to the city’s center, you’ll enjoy a sense of solitude here when you’re on your private terrace!

Location Description

The apartment is located near the Piazza Beccaria and is near shops, restaurants, and markets. The nearest bus stop is 100 meters away (line 6) and this can take you further into the city’s center so you can see all of the amazing sites. Be sure to check out the Uffizi Gallery, which houses the works of Michelango, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, and many more! The Ponte Vecchio and the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo are also not to be missed.

Nearby Attractions: The Santa Croce quarter is located on the southeastern part of the historic center of Florence. Since the Middle Ages, it was an area specializing in leather. In fact, today it is still filled with leather shops! The large Santa Croce Church, filled with famous frescoes and tombs of some of the city’s greats, is the main structure of the quarter. The piazza in front of the church is filled day and night with tourists and locals. Some of the best gelato shops and restaurants can be found in this neighborhood. Piazza dei Ciompi has a daily flea market as well as a large monthly market (last Sunday). Plaz, located across from the 16th century Loggia del Pesce is a fun and casual place to stop for a drink and live music.

Ground Floor: The entrance room features a sofa, mirror, and two chairs. There is a living room furnished with a sofa bed (most suitable for one adult or two small children), armchairs, and a TV (local channels and BBC International, only), and has access to the terrace. There is a dining room with a table and chairs and the kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, American coffee maker, and tea kettle. There is also a small table with three chairs and access to the terrace. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 cm) that can be separated to form two single beds upon prior request. The first bathroom has a sink, toilet, bidet, and shower and the second bathroom has a sink, toilet, bidet, and tub.
