About The Experience
Be within walking distance of Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, considered “one of the pearls” of the Amalfi Coast, and a short drive away from the beach at this villa rental. It features panoramic views of the sea, has a private swimming pool, and six bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom making it ideal for a large group.
Location Description

The property is located 500 meters from the center of Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, a small town perched on a hill that has views of the coast, sea, and two bays nearby. Today it is best known for its church of the same name, the monastery of Deserto, and its archaeological ruins dating back to Etruscan times. Of course, there are also markets, shops, restaurants, and an endless amount of walking paths away from the main roads. The nearest beach is in Nerano, where there are also more restaurants. Sorrento is a short drive away, as well, and is great for a day trip. Here is where you’ll find a museum, music festivals from mid-September to mid-October, and various art galleries throughout the year. Shoppers, be sure to stop by Via S. Cesareo to browse craft stores, sweet shops, and clothing boutiques. Keep in mind that every Tuesday is the weekly street market. There are also cinemas, wine bars, and even a bowling alley to amuse you during your visit.

Customer Reviews

Property and views are wonderful. Website photos don't do it justice. Location quite good. Kitchen is well stocked.
Enjoyed Most:
The views are spectacular, and the number of rooms mean one can enjoy a large family there.
Enjoyed Least:
We did not have WiFi signal on the 1st floor.
Surrounding Area:
We took trips to Sorrento, Pompeii, Capri, and Positano.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Sant'Agata sul due Golfi. It was near enough to walk (although quite uphill on the way back) but the car traffic meant walking was not ideal.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring toilet paper, paper towels and washer and dishwasher detergent. Car also a must, unless guests believe sitting by pool and enjoying views is enough (which it well could be).
We used a GPS. We also were able to print photos of the road to the town and the entrance to the Villa.
Check In Out:
Check in was OK, although we had to wait for agent. Check out fine. Only advice -- be aware that you need to sort all your trash on check-out.

The villa could have been cleaner.
Surrounding Area:
Everything. Loved the town.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Sant' Agata sui due Golfi. And yes, you can walk.
Tips or Restaurants:
Purchase toilet paper.
Yes. Used GPS.
Check In Out:
No. Tiziana was great.

The villa was as represented on the website and exceptional. It is capable of accommodating up to 20 people and we were a small party of only five so the facilities were more than adequate and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay of 7 days
Enjoyed Most:
The outside facilities were fantastic which was perfect given that everyday was around 25 degrees with clear blue skies. The swimming pool and poolside furniture were excellent and the view, over the quaintly named village of Crapolla, was sensational. The fig trees were producing fresh ripe figs every day and coupled with local cheese and wine they made for excellent pre-dinner platters.
Enjoyed Least:
The kitchen was too small and cramped. WiFi worked well when in range but did not provide coverage over the entire property. We could not see how to turn the lights on around the pool until the day before we left.
Surrounding Area:
What was there not to enjoy? Well, maybe Capri. This is the fourth time we have stayed on the Amalfi Coast and the first time we have visited Capri. It's not worth the aggravation because the crowds make it unbearable. There were three cruise ships lying off Sorrento which meant the crowds were too much. Amalfi, Positano and Ravello are well worth a bus trip but best of all we liked Marina del Cantone easily reachable by bus.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Sant'Agata is the closest village and a good base since it is equidistant from the north and south sides of the Sorrentine Peninsular. The walk to the town centre was easy on the way in but after a meal and a few drinks the final hill to the property on the way back was a minor challenge. It is served with a good range of shops and there were a number of restaurants including the well regarded Don Alfonso for fine dining. The agriturismo up the hill from the villa was well worth a visit.
