Customer Reviews

Overall:
We loved this hunter's cottage! The property manager couldn't have been more helpful. The pool was a delight and the property was lovely with an eclectic array of artifacts scattered about. It is a simple cottage, somewhat rustic which worked just fine for us. We were within 15 minutes of the supermarket and main part of town.
Enjoyed Most:
The pool.
Enjoyed Least:
Although the pool lounges were lovely, other outdoor furniture was uncomfortable.
Surrounding Area:
The cottage itself was fairly isolated, but it was only a 15 minute drive into town.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Sciano was a hamlet with only 1 restaurant. Certaldo - a real town, was not within walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
If you need milder American coffee or non-dairy creamer - BRING YOUR OWN! We didn't have any really hot nights- but there is no AC, only fans.
Directions:
Used GPS set for Sciano which got us close enough.

Enjoyed Least:
Too far from town and the train station.
Surrounding Area:
Landscape
Nearby Events or Locales:
Certaldo. Too far to walk and roads were narrow and hilly. Definitely had to drive.
Tips or Restaurants:
Maroni's restaurant was suggested by Isabel, the lady who checked us in/out.

It was easy to find with GPS.
Check In Out:
We had to leave early and Massimo was great about that.
