Spend your time strolling about the hamlet and taking in the magnificent views, or take day trips throughout Tuscany, including Lucca, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, and Volterra.

Further afield, there are many other opportunities for wine tasting: La Sala Winery (San Casciano), Il Solatione Winery (Mercatale Val di Pesa), Cennatoio Winery and Villa Cafaggio Winery (Panzano). Customer Reviews

Wonderful, bucolic setting --just what we needed to relax and get away from it all.
Enjoyed Most:
History of property, expansive villa with great view. Everything we needed. Liked the reasonably priced option for breakfast (and the choice of food) and how helpful and pleasant the staff was.
Enjoyed Least:
WiFi was sporadic, kept dropping connection and asking for log in every 5 minutes. While breakfast was great, it did take a while.
Surrounding Area:
Scenery, ease of getting to Florence, Siena, etc. and some good dining options.
Nearby Events or Locales:
San Casciano
Tips or Restaurants:
We parked in Siena on the street in what we thought was an ok spot--said parking was ok with hours posted--but in fine print (in Italian) it said permit only. We did not see or understand and our car got towed. It was a horrible ordeal...but we learned after that!
GPS coordinates worked well and the reference to taking the Bargino exit was helpful.
Check In Out:
All was great. Some tupperware or foil to cover food would have been great to have in the villa.
