This is a lovely location for an intimate family gathering, wedding or other special celebration. Location Description

The villa is a short walk (800 m) to Eygalieres, where quiet cafes and Michelin-starred restaurants line the small street in the village center. Those who wish to walk to Eygalieres can follow the small road near the villa or the somewhat steep (but still navigable) dirt path near the road. Supermarkets can be found in nearby Saint-Remy-de-Provence, about 15 minutes away by car. Saint Remy is the most famous town of the Alpilles and has excellent shopping, cafés and restaurants, and a wonderful outdoor market on Wednesdays. Saint Remy is about 75 km from Marseille International Airport. Avignon, with its theater festival, art galleries, cultural events and gastronomic restaurants, is within an easy drive.

Exterior Description

The property is surrounded by 300 organic olive trees as well as umbrella pines, cypress and almond trees. There are two ponds with water lilies and fish, and a stone courtyard with olive trees, a barbecue and a sitting area with outdoor furniture (couch, armchair and table). There are two dining areas, one with a small table for four and one larger table that seats six. The heated swimming pool (15 m x 5 m) has a saltwater chlorination system and electric cover. The pool terrace has sun loungers and offers magnificent views over the Alpilles.

Interior Description

There is a floor cooling/heating system on the ground floor, and air conditioning upstairs.

Main House
Ground Floor: The living room (60m2) has a fireplace, two sofas, five armchairs, satellite TV, music sound system and access to the courtyard. The fully equipped kitchen has two dishwashers, two refrigerators, a convection oven, steam oven, electric wine cellar, induction hob and microwave. The kitchen opens onto the dining room—which has a fireplace and table for 10—and the garden. There are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm), ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, shower, washbasin and toilet, and French doors to the garden. The second bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm) and ensuite bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet. There is a laundry room at the back of the kitchen with a washing machine (8 kg), clothes dryer, and large refrigerator.
First Floor: There are two double bedrooms, each with a king-size bed (180 cm) and en-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.

Guest House (50 m from main house)
The guest house is fully air conditioned.
Ground Floor: The small living room has a flat-screen TV, couch and small refrigerator. There are three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm) and ensuite bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. The second and third bedrooms each have two single beds (90 cm each) and an ensuite bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
