Location Description

The Villa is located on the east side of the island on Bordeaux Mountain. The main town—Cruz Bay is about 18 minutes away. Cruz Bay is the most popular among visitors; there are many different types of activities such as sailing, scuba diving, and jet skiing. St. John also has many different hiking trails that range in length and difficulty, especially through Virgin Island's National Park, which makes up over 7,000 acres. In addition to hiking trails, there are coral reefs, beaches, historical ruins, and guided tours. For more cultural activities, every spring means the annual arrival of the St. John Blues Festival where nearly everyone on this island will be celebrating with live music, games, and more. Cruz Bay is located across from the ferry dock from St. Thomas and has easy access to all other parts of the island. St John has no airport. Visitors typically fly into the Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas, which is only 3 mi/5 km away by ferry. Ferries on St Thomas—from Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook—will bring you to Cruz Bay on St John.

Nearby Attractions: The island of St. John is home to one of the top ten beaches in the world; Trunk Bay—a blue flag beach. This pristine beach has a snack bar, showers, lifeguards, and an underwater snorkeling trail. The reefs off the coast of St John’s other beaches have great snorkeling, the national park is home to wonderful hiking trails—Reef Bay is the most noteworthy. This easy hike passes through lush tropical forests and past the ruins of an old plantation. East End is decidedly less touristy and is home to some of the best snorkeling on the island and a few great restaurants to sample authentic Caribbean fare.

Exterior Description
This gated villa is located in the hills of Bordeaux Mountain—where a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. On the main level, there is a covered terrace furnished with tables and chairs for alfresco diners and cocktails, in addition to a gas grill. A staircase from this level leads down to the pool terrace with safety-gated16ft x 16ft pool, lounge chairs, and a shaded area bordering two of the villa’s bedrooms.
Interior Description

Ground Floor: This two-story villa is made up of two separate pavilions centered around a pool deck and terrace. The main entrance into the west pavilion leads to the living room, which flows into the dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The living room is equipped with a TV, DVD player, and has French doors that lead out onto the covered terrace with tables and chairs. From this terrace you can access this levels’ second pavilion and the air-conditioned Yellow Suite, with king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom. There is also a laundry closet with washer and dryer, and a guest bathroom on this level.

Lower Level: From the terrace on the main level, a staircase leads down to the pool deck and additional pavilions. The pavilion nearest to the pool is home to the air-conditioned Green Suite with queen-sized bed and en-suite bathroom. On the other side of the pool is the final pavilion and two air-conditioned suites. The Blue Suite has a king-sized bed (can be converted into twin upon prior request) and an en-suite bathroom. The Pink Suite had a queen-sized bed and en-suite bathroom. Between these two suites is an office with Wi-Fi for your laptop, a printer, fax, mini-fridge and coffee maker.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 60 days of your departure from the property minus any damages to the property, or any charges incurred during your stay. The islands are a “port of entry” to the U.S. mainland – so please don’t forget these for the whole family. You also need them if you plan to visit any of the British Virgin Islands during your stay, even if it is just a day trip.
