Location Description

Located just 5 minutes away from Cruz Bay, this villa is close to all the amenities and activities the island has to offer, while still maintaining peace and quiet. Because Cruz Bay is the most popular among visitors, there are many different types of activities such as sailing, scuba diving, and jet skiing. St. John also has many different hiking trails that range in length and difficulty, especially through Virgin Island's National Park, which makes up over 7,000 acres. In addition to hiking trails, there are coral reefs, beaches, historical ruins, and guided tours. For more cultural activities, every spring means the annual arrival of the St. John Blues Festival where nearly everyone on this island will be celebrating with live music, games, and more. Cruz Bay is located across from the ferry dock from St. Thomas and has easy access to all other parts of the island.

St John has no airport. Visitors typically fly into the Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas, which is only 3 mi/5 km away by ferry. Ferries on St Thomas—from Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook—will bring you to Cruz Bay on St John.

Nearby Attractions: The island of St. John is home to one of the top ten beaches in the world; Trunk Bay—a blue flag beach. This pristine beach has a snack bar, showers, lifeguards, and an underwater snorkeling trail. The reefs off the coast of St John’s other beaches have great snorkeling. East End is decidedly less touristy and home to some of the best snorkeling on the island and a few great restaurants serving authentic Caribbean fare. The National Park is home to wonderful hiking trails—Reef Bay is the most noteworthy. This easy hike passes through lush tropical forests and past the ruins of an old plantation. This villa is also near Caneel Bay Beach in addition to many other north shore beaches.

Exterior Description
(2546ft2/236.5m2) The villa’s tenant resides in the apartment above the double-garage from time to time—but privacy is maintained and the villa’s pool and interiors are completely private and out of view. Behind a private gate, the driveway leads to a paved courtyard with parking. The villa is surrounded by the island’s National Parks and has manicured tropical landscaping. Beyond the interior living area lies a sizable travertine pool deck lined with palm trees, lounge chairs, and accommodations for alfresco dining. There is also a small pool that flows into a larger pool (35ft long, irregular shape).
Interior Description

Ground Floor: Through the entryway and gallery is the large living room with plush couches, satellite TV, marble wet bar, and a formal dining area for 6. On the other side of the entryway lies the gourmet kitchen. The kitchen comes equipped with a professional gas stove, an array of small appliances—including an ice cream maker—granite counter-tops, and mahogany cabinetry. In the kitchen there is also a small office nook and an adjacent open-air covered barbecue room with grill. Further down the entryway brings you to the first two air-conditioned bedrooms; each with TVs and California king-sized beds. These rooms share a bathroom with shower and a separate WC. One room has access to a private garden patio, while French doors in each room lead right out to the pool deck.

Upper Level: A staircase from the main level leads to the villa’s third air-conditioned bedroom. This master suite has a four-poster California king-sized bed, TV, arched doors that open onto a private balcony with table and chairs and sunset views. There is a large master bath with double sinks, separate WC, and a private, covered alfresco shower pavilion—beyond the shower pavilion lies an additional private terrace.

Security Deposit

  • Along with the final payment, a refundable security deposit is due. You will be requested to mail a check to in the amount listed. The security deposit will be returned to you within 60 days of your departure from the property minus any damages to the property, or any charges incurred during your stay. Additional Expenses

  • Each set of lost keys will incur a charge of $35.
  • Lost gate remote controls will be charged at replacement cost ($40 to $100).

  • Departures must take place before 11:00 am. Departures after 11:00 am may incur a charge of $250.

Everyone departing the United States Virgin Islands, including U.S. Citizens, is now required by U.S. Immigration to show either a valid passport or a certified copy of a birth certificate accompanied by a photo ID. The islands are a “port of entry” to the U.S. mainland – so please don’t forget these for the whole family. You also need them if you plan to visit any of the British Virgin Islands during your stay, even if it is just a day trip.
