This chic, five-bedroom villa overlooking Lake Como is a short drive from Menaggio. The property has a furnished outdoor area with a private pool. Visit Menaggio’s town center and eat at one of the many cafes, or hop a ferry to Bellagio, Varenna, and Como. There is something for everyone here!

Location Description

Menaggio, the largest town in the central lake area, which includes Varenna and Bellagio, is a 9-minute drive from this villa and boasts a charming historic center. The town has a wide range of delicatessens and grocery shops, a scenic lakefront promenade with cafes and the largest lido on the lake, Lido Giardino Menaggio, which has a large pool (25m), children’s pool, and a beach with sun loungers, lake access, volleyball, playground and a pizzeria. There is very good public transportation via buses and ferries. Bellagio and Varenna are also important to visit, even if the former is filled with tourists during the summer season. A car is essential.

Nearby Attractions: Eat at the popular ‘La Barcola’ Agroturismo restaurant, which is less than five minutes away.

Exterior Description

This pink, three-story villa near Menaggio is nestled into the hillside overlooking Lake Como. It features a private garden with a covered day bed and rattan seating area. The private heated swimming pool (8m x 3m x 120 cm deep - open from early June to late September) is directly off of the house and is surrounded by sun loungers. Additionally, there is a covered dining terrace with a barbecue. The gated villa has a driveway and parking.

Upper Ground Floor (Main Floor): This villa’s bright living room is furnished with a large sofa, a fireplace, wall mounted satellite TV with a DVD player, free Wi-Fi, and a games and books library. The adjoining open kitchen with a stool-lined breakfast bar is equipped with an oven, toaster, electric tea kettle, Nespresso machine, and a dishwasher. The dining area is furnished with a table and chairs and has access to a covered terrace with lake views for dining al fresco. There is one bedroom with a standard double bed (140 cm), which is comfortable for one and cozy for two. One full bathroom has a shower.

First Floor: Steps lead up to the first floor where there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed (160 cm) with an en suite bathroom with a shower. It also has a private balcony with lake views. The second bedroom has a standard double bed (140 cm), which is comfortable for one, cozy for two, and the third bedroom has two narrow single beds (80 cm; most comfortable for young people). There is a family bathroom with a bath tub and overhead shower with an adjoining shower room with a toilet.

Lower Ground Floor (Garden Level): This floor is ideal as a private suite! It features a double bedroom with a standard double bed (140 cm), which is comfortable for one, cozy for two, separated by a curtain, and a separate bathroom with a shower. There is a spacious living room with a sofa and flat screen TV and a set of French doors that lead out to the pool and garden.
