Enjoy the French countryside from this villa in Provence, one of the loveliest and most authentic regions in the country. Situated halfway between Avignon and St-Remy-de-Provence, Villa Charm is a perfect base for exploring these two famous cities. The entire region is full of gastronomic delights—most notably around the uptown St-Rémy-de-Provence, famous for fine restaurants. Spend some time in Avignon. The chic city is best known for its annual arts festival, the largest in France, which draws thousands of visitors for several weeks in July. The rest of the year, it's a lovely city to explore, with boutique-lined streets, busy squares, excellent restaurants – as well as an impressive medieval wall that entirely encircles this ancient city. Don’t leave Provence without seeing Monastère St-Paul de Mausole, a monastery turned asylum made famous for one of its former residents, the ever-volatile Vincent Van Gogh, who admitted himself in 1889.

Overall:
We absolutely were delighted in every way with Villa Charm. The pictures did not lie - the property is stunning. Every room was lovely and the kitchen was perfect for preparing large family meals. Our entire group enjoyed the pool, the grounds, the piano, the grill, the pétanque area - well, we enjoyed it all.
Enjoyed Most:
We loved the pool and the beautiful gardens that had so many places to sit and relax. The kitchen had high-end appliances and the two dishwashers were a bonus for 12 people. The extra refrigerator was used to chill the rosè. We loved having a well equipped kitchen with so many extras and more than enough dishes and flatware for our large group. The air conditioning was much needed and appreciated. The Villa was spotless and furnished to perfection - plenty of room to gather or get away. The outdoor table was perfect and became the scene of many delicious dinners.
Enjoyed Least:
The automatic pool cleaning device was annoying at times and WiFi was only strong in the main living room.
Surrounding Area:
Loved the hilltop villages, the city of Avignon, the vineyards, the fabulous markets and roadside stands selling fruits and vegetables, the great wine, the easy trip from the Avignon TGV, the local boulangeries, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, Gordes, the wine tour - I guess we loved the entire area.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Noves - possible to walk but we all had vehicles.
Tips or Restaurants:
We all brought pool floats and had a lot of fun with those. Loved the piano as one of our group is a Broadway pianist and another a Broadway hopeful. Loved Foo de Fa-Fa in Avignon.
Directions:
Directions were perfect and everyone arrived with no problem.
Check In Out:
The whole process was smooth and easy.

Overall:
Our entire family found this property enchanting. We had all our meals together on to deck and found it a very binding experience. We sang around the piano and enjoyed delicious rose' by the pool. A perfect week!
Enjoyed Most:
The covered patio with its large table.
Enjoyed Least:
That the WiFi signal was very weak on the upper floors. But this only had us enjoying life more and not caught up in our usual daily grind.
Surrounding Area:
Visiting the surrounding towns, especially on market days.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Noves. It was walkable but we never had the chance.
Tips or Restaurants:
We visited Restaurant David in Roussillon and Foo de Fa Fa in Avignon.
Directions:
GPS is a must, especially if you intend to drive to the smaller towns.
Check In Out:
A very smooth process, Mariellen was fantastic.
