This is the ideal departure point for day trips to some of Southern Italy’s most beautiful destinations, including Sorrento, Capri, and Positano. Nestled in the residential center of the San Montano Riviera, 4 Km from Sorrento, this fabulous apartment overlooks the sea. A footpath (1 km/0.6 miles) starts at the private beach and runs alongside the sea front, leading directly to the small seaside village of Marina della Lobra where there is a bar and a general food store.

Capri: 30 minutes by boat
Positano: 20 km/12 miles
Marina del Cantone: 10 km/6 miles

Casa Giorgia is located on one level that overlooks and has access to the sea. From the private terrace, you’ll enjoy one of the peninsula’s most beautiful panoramas, with views of the Mediterranean spanning from Capri to the island of Ischia.

Second Floor
The large ocean view terrace is the apartment’s hub, and all rooms have access to it. It features a spacious living room, dining area, and kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and tea kettle. The first double bedroom has a queen size bed (160 cm x 190 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, bidet and hairdryer. The second double bedroom has a queen size bed that can be split into two singles (160 cm x 190 cm) and a twin bed (80 cm x 190 cm). The separate bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet, bidet and hairdryer.

Overall:
It was wonderful. The view was incredible. Raphael took great care of us and was so helpful.
Enjoyed Most:
The view was wonderful. The deck overlooking the Mediterranean Sea with Capri in the horizon was priceless. The deck furniture allowed us to enjoy it even more especially on warm sunny days even in December.
Raphael made sure to take care of any issues that came up.
Enjoyed Least:
The larger bathroom was supposed to have a bathtub which my wife was looking forward to but it had been replaced by a large shower. It was really not a big problem.
Surrounding Area:
It is so quiet in the area. Not much traffic at all and plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby. Once we got used to driving it really did not take much more than 10 or 15 minutes to central Sorrento. Trips along the Amalfi coast were breathtaking.
The people we met were so friendly.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Tthe nearest small town was Massa Lubrense. It was within walking distance but it was a pretty steep climb
Tips or Restaurants:
You cannot go wrong with any of the restaurants in the area. Make sure and go to Naples for the best pizza ever at l'Antica san Michelle? which was in the movie "Eat Pray Love". It is not easy to get to that restaurant with Naples traffic, though.
Directions:
You need GPS for anything you do in Italy. But Raphael met us in Sorrento, took us to get groceries and then guided us to the Villa so we had no problem finding it.

Overall:
We did enjoy our stay, although there were some hiccups. We tried to remember we were on vacation and "went with the flow".
Enjoyed Most:
The large patio with ocean views. Rafael, the manager, was extremely accommodating and patient with us. He addressed a number of issues during our stay.
Enjoyed Least:
The lack of shade on the patio during the mid-day heat. The elevator does not work (repaired by Rafael). The fan in the bedroom does not work (repaired by Rafel). The bath with the bathtub is now a shower. This was not what we expected. We were only given 1 towel each and 1 kitchen towel and had to request more.
Surrounding Area:
It was enjoyable to walk to the local marina and have dinner. We also hired a private boat to take us to Capri.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Massa Lubrense is a small town, a difficult walk although we did walk back, downhill. Groceries, lunch, and our driver's office. It was olive harvest time when we were there and observing the process on our walks was interesting.
Tips or Restaurants:
You definitely need a flashlight. Luckily we had two. The walk to the marina for dinner is dimly lit and the walkway uneven.
We are coffee drinkers, and we found coffee bags, similar to tea bags, in our local grocery store prior to our trip and with all of the places we stayed, there is an electric tea pot, so having our cup of coffee in the morning was a nice touch.
Directions:
We hired a driver, Persico, at RentVillas recommendation and this proved to be the best option. We did walk up the hill on the first day, but this proved to be too long and steep for a regular option.
Check In Out:
Rafael met us and showed us around the apartment but it took us a few days to get everything functioning.

Overall:
Overall excellent, little stuff getting in and out with the stairs with a person with a cane.
Enjoyed Most:
VIEW WAS OUTSTANDING.....
Enjoyed Least:
Stairs.... should have gotten a rental car. Bus stop was .5 miles up a hill.
Surrounding Area:
The people at the Marina where 1st class .... also the food and service at the marina bar top notch...
Nearby Events or Locales:
Massa Lubrense and was really to far to walk. Was a small store at the marina that had everything we needed and was very helpful.
Tips or Restaurants:
Be prepared to walk and climb steps....bring good shoes.
Directions:
Directions where great, didn't use gps.
Check In Out:
Was great no issues.
