Exterior Description

Villa Abramo was built by a US Ambassador in the 19th century. It is one of the most prestigious properties in Sorrento. Located on a natural promontory, the villa offers spectacular views of the gulf of Sorrento, Naples and Mt Vesuvius. Its gardens are considered to be one of the twenty most beautiful gardens in Europe, with more than seven hundred species of plants. Several terraces lead down to sea level. A panoramic terrace furnished with table and chairs is perfect for al fresco dining. There is a private pool (open April 14 - October 20, 2018) and a cave leads from the pool to the sea. There is an elevator from the car park up to the second floor.

Interior Description

Villa (800 m2) Five floors

Lowest Floor: There is a fitness area with gym equipment and two panoramic lounges.

Lower Ground Floor: (accessed by a marble staircase) There are three spacious reception rooms with access to a large panoramic terrace with views of the gulf of Sorrento. On this floor there are a living room with its original flooring and frescoes, a music room with a grand piano, and dining room. There is also a spacious professional kitchen with stove, refrigerator, oven and access to an internal courtyard with a wood burning oven.

Ground Floor (main entrance):
This floor features marble flooring and columns, archaeological finds and precious decorations. There is a beautiful living room overlooking the terrace and a library.

First Floor: There is a master bedroom with a queen bed (160x190), fireplace, living room, and marble bathroom with sink, toilet, bathtub and shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed(160x190) and bathroom with sink, toilet, bathtub and shower.

Second Floor: There are four double bedrooms with queen beds(160x190) each with en suite bathrooms, three with shower and the fourth one with bathtub and shower.
All the bedrooms have flat screen TVs and safes.

Top Level: There is a large sun terrace with a panoramic view of the gulf of Sorrento.

Annex (150 m2)
There are four double bedrooms with queen beds (160x190), each with a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower.
Please Note: the quality of the bedrooms in the annex is inferior to those inside the villa.
