This former convent is located in the Val d'Orcia, recognized as a Unesco World Heritage Site, due to its natural beauty and artistic heritage. This hilly part of south-eastern Tuscany is also famous for its beneficial thermal baths. San Casciano dei Bagni offers a fabulous spa and thermal pools. Cetona is an enchanting Tuscan town with a few well-known restaurants and a weekly market. For lovers of good wine, guests can visit the wine cellars of Montepulciano. The town of Radicofani is a 10 minute drive away and has a grocery shop and restaurant, while a supermarket and large shopping center are located at Chiusi.

Exterior Description

The villa is set among rolling green hills and is accessed by a gravel road (1 km long) which is lined with cypress trees. There is a swimming pool, tennis court, outside sitting area for 15 people, covered gazebo, and guest house with sauna and bathroom with shower.

Interior Description

The villa has a billiard room and two computers with wireless internet connection. Faggeto is on three floors. The ground floor consists of spacious and light dayrooms. The kitchen is particularly lovely, complete with high standard furniture and furnishings. It is modern and extremely practical. From the kitchen, just as from all the other rooms on the ground floor, there is direct access to the garden. Only one bedroom is on the ground floor. The others are on the first and second floor. The style of all the bedrooms and the conveniences provided in them are all the same. This is what makes this villa a perfect choice for groups of friends. The bathrooms, too, are similar, their travertine and local terracotta tiles creating a mix of pastels that are pleasing to the eye. The towels are top quality. (850)
Ground Floor: There is a large living room with comfortable couches, fireplace, flat screen satellite TV, DVD player, and book collection. There is a dining room with two large tables seating up to 18 guests, a flat screen satellite TV, and a desk area with two computers with internet connection, fax machine and printer. There is also a billiard room with pool table and board games for guests to enjoy. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (160x190cm), and a bathroom with shower, and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
Four steps down: There is second large living room with comfortable couches, fireplace, dining table for 10 people, and a kitchen with oven, microwave, toaster, blender, and dining table for 6 people.
First Floor: Bedroom 2 has a double bed (160x190cm) and en suite bathroom with tub and separate shower. Bedroom 3 has a king size bed (180x190cm) and en suite bathroom with tub and separate shower. Bedroom 4 has two twin beds (80x190cm, can be converted into a double bed on request) and en suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom 5 has a double bed (160x190cm) and en suite bathroom with shower.
Second Floor: There is a large TV room with comfortable couches and flat screen satellite TV, fireplace, and small table. Bedroom 6 has two twin beds (80x190cm) and en suite bathroom with tub. Bedroom 7 has two twin beds (80x190cm, can be converted into a double bed on request) and en suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom 8 has a French bed (120x190cm, comfortable for one person) and en suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom 9 has a double bed (160x190cm) and en suite bathroom with shower.
