Siena is famous for its cuisine, art, museums, and the Palio horse race held twice a year.The villa is only 3 miles from the magnificent Castello di Brolio, the impressive castle which has dominated the Southern Chianti Classico countryside for over ten centuries. The nearest town is Pianella, a small Italian village with grocery shops and restaurants.

Exterior Description

Dating back to the 13th century, this estate is a landmark of the Chianti region. The property consists of three houses, an orangerie, and a private chapel, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The outdoor area provides a unique experience of peace and serenity. The villa has a T shaped swimming pool (25 m long) surrounded by olive trees, hammocks and sun loungers. Overlooking the pool is a beautiful terrace with an impressive marble table (10m long, seating 30 people) allowing guests to enjoy meals under the shade of the mulberry-plane trees. The orangerie has been transformed into a gameroom (with table football and ping pong). There is also a traditional pizza oven and parking for 4-5 cars.

Main Villa -
Upper Ground Level: There is a living room with access to a large terrace, a dining room with a large fireplace, and a winter kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, oven, and Italian coffee maker. There is a large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a small living room with a fireplace.
Lower Ground Floor: There is a dining room, summer kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, Italian coffee maker, and access to the garden terrace. There is a billiard room and a music room with a 1910 Steinway grand piano. There is one bedroom with an en suite bathroom and access to the chapel courtyard.
First Floor: There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Tower: There are two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Upper Level: There is a large living room with a large fireplace and satellite TV (international and local channels), a fully equipped kitchen (American coffee maker) and a patio with an authentic wood pizza oven. There are two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and two bedrooms which share a bathroom.
Lower Level (accessed from the outside): There is one large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a small kitchen, and a “reading” room with a bed and hammock.

Lower Floor: There is a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a smaller bedroom ideal for two children.
Upper Floor: There is a living room with a large fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with an Italian coffee maker, toaster, and dishwasher.
