Customer Reviews

Overall:
Amazing. The property surpassed our expectations in every respect. Plenty of space for two families to be there at the same time and enjoy some privacy. Large enough common spaces to dine all together. The annex is as beautiful as the main house.
Enjoyed Most:
The pool area, hands down. The views are spectacular from every angle.
Enjoyed Least:
Although close to the small city of Sant'Agata, it is not walkable due to the narrow streets. But that is the Amalfi Coast! However, through Lucio, our contact for the villa, we arranged free shuttles to and from restaurants and our excursions. That was such a huge bonus.
Surrounding Area:
Sant'Agata is charming. We had several wonderful meals in the local restaurants. Sorrento is a 30 minute drive away and beautiful. We visited Amalfi and Positano by way of a boat tour.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Sant'Agata sui due Golfi. Charming. It would be walking distance but because of narrow streets and a lot of blind spots, we did not feel comfortable walking to town. However, Lucio, our villa contact, arranged free shuttles for us to and from restaurants and excursions. We drove into town several times as well. A bit nerve-racking
Tips or Restaurants:
I would recommend renting a small car. It really does reduce some of the stress of driving for those not used to these types of roads. Washing machine on site means it is easier to pack light. Having Lucio to recommend restaurants and excursions helped immensely as well. We were more than satisfied with all of the activities we planned through him. Through our travels in Italy, everyone we interacted with communicates through the WhatsApp texting app, so it is good to have.
Directions:
Lucio met us at a local restaurant in Sant'Agata and we followed his car to the villa. I think that's the best way to go about it. Otherwise I am not sure how we would have found the villa the first time we arrived.
Check In Out:
Following Lucio made the check-in seamless. Be prepared with Euros to pay for the cleaning fee and tourist tax upon arrival. Excursions and chef in villa had to be paid in cash as well.
