Enjoyed Most:
The castle is beautiful.
Enjoyed Least:
The door leaked, and we had a ripping rain thunder and lightening storm...we had one little mouse that befriended us too. We are smart enough to realize that this is the country and none of this was upsetting to us. The only thing is that due to the time of year and the abnormal weather they hadn't turned on the heat and it was cold everywhere in the castle.
Surrounding Area:
Toscana is very beautiful! I would not recommend it for the month of Oct. It is the end of harvest and the farms are very busy. They tend to close whenever they feel like it, so be careful what times you plan to go wine tasting.
Tips or Restaurants:
Warm clothes and shoes and socks for walking around in your room.
Directions:
It is a big beautiful castle right on the hill, you can't miss it.
Check In Out:
The people running it are exceptionally nice and helpful.
Serena, October
Overall:
It was a great experience. The people working there were very helpful.
Enjoyed Most:
Having someplace quiet and lovely to go to after the hectic time in the cities and other tourist areas.
Enjoyed Least:
The quiet.
Surrounding Area:
It was so beautiful. The nearest town was abut a half mile away, there was a small store and one other
resturant.
