Overall:
We loved the location--it was right in the heart of everything, near shops and the markets. We felt safe and comfortable and would be happy to stay there again. Hassan, the property manager, was there to greet us as we arrived, helped us bring our suitcases up, and made sure we knew how to use everything.
Enjoyed Most:
The patio was very nice, and the rooms were all decorated beautifully. The building was safe and clean and in a great location. We had plenty of space and there were lots of extra blankets and pillows. It was easy to go upstairs in the morning and enjoy the kitchen and living room/patio and let the rest of the family sleep downstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was stocked with basic spices and there was dishwashing/laundry soap.
Enjoyed Least:
From one of the bedrooms there was a lot of street noise, especially on the weekend. We were glad we had a travel-sized white noise machine. The showers were very narrow.
Surrounding Area:
The apartment is steps away from shops, boutiques, and restaurants. The Campo dei Fiori is very near. There were lots of easy nearby options for eating, buying groceries, and shopping.
Tips or Restaurants:
Definitely bring earplugs or a white noise machine. Tons of good restaurants around.
Directions:
We had no problems as Hassan met our taxi.
Check In Out:
Hassan made it as easy as possible. We were very happy with the check in/check out process.

Elizabeth, June

Overall:
Very Roman. The apartment was just as advertised and better than the photos indicated. Bright and airy, with a very lively terrace. Facilities were roomy and private. Open air circulation avoided the need for any air conditioning although it was very warm (upper 80's F). This is a great location, being just across the Tiber from Trastevere where the best retaurants are located and most locals eat.
Enjoyed Most:
Location, space and air. The terrace was a delight. (I am not talking aboiut a "view". There was no "view", just a wonderful openess.)
Enjoyed Least:
1. Lack of water pressure made the showering difficult. 2. Great location, but noisy with the windows open, being just above a busy (at all hours) street. Chalk this up to part of the experience and not a bad trade off for not having to use the A/C.
Surrounding Area:
Dining and proximity of sights. Very local, not at all touristy.
Tips or Restaurants:
Trastevere is the place ot eat and relax with the locals.
Directions:
Taxi driver took us to the end of the block. Rome is no place for un-initiated drivers.

Eric , June

Overall:
It was a very good experience. We would recommend it to anyone traveling to Rome. The location was superb and the lady who operates the apartment was very helpful and accommodating. We found whtever we needed to eat at the nearby grocery store. The Magnolia Restaurant in the Campo dei Fiori is excellent. The driver who met us at the airport was fantastic as were the other drivers whom we called upon for various trips within Rome. A good location, and very clean apartment.
Enjoyed Least:
The steps, but that's almost a given in Rome.
Surrounding Area:
The location was superb; the historic district was a terrific area to stay in.
Tips or Restaurants:
Pack lightly, steps are always an issue in Rome. I can't stress it enough--pack as lightly as you can because if you need something, you can buy it in Rome.

Eve, May

Overall:
Great experience. The apartment is clean and large. It was located in a great place for shopping and eating.
Enjoyed Most:
The apartment was large and every bedroom had its own bathroom. It was centrally located. I loved having a washing machine and dryer. The outside area was beautiful.
Enjoyed Least:
The shower head in the master bathroom didn't work well and the shower in the middle bathroom didn't drain well. Editor's Note: Both have been fixed. October 2011.
Surrounding Area:
The trains and taxi stand were close and it was within walking distance to most sights.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Most everything, even Vatican City, was within walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
There are two markets within walking distance to the property so you can buy anything you forgot to bring. Towels are provided which is wonderful and the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and silverware.
Directions:
We were dropped off just a short walk from our apartment in the middle of Campo dei Fiori; the cab driver pointed out the street and it was easy to find.
Check In Out:
Hassan was great! Very nice and helpful.
