Customer Reviews

Very good. We didn't expect to have WiFi in the villa, but there is WiFi on the first floor!
Enjoyed Most:
Within 5 minutes walking distance to the market and village. It is by the sea and has a beautiful view.
Enjoyed Least:
Some of the bathrooms' showers might benefit from an upgrade.
Surrounding Area:
It is a beautiful seaside town, very convenient.
Nearby Events or Locales:
5 minutes walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
The villa provided everything and the kitchen is fully equipped. A very nice seafood restaurant, La Lucciola, is within walking distance. It is run by a family, lovely place and great food.
We rented a car from Milan and the car rental company also provided GPS. We had no problem finding the place. We also had a 9 passenger minivan, didn't have any problem driving to the property.
Check In Out:
Check in and check out were very smooth and easy. Max was very helpful and easy to work with.

We loved our 2 weeks in Villa Castiglioncello. We were within easy walking distance of Castiglioncello and the beach. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. Three repairs or adjustments were immediately attended to by the homeowners. A happy celebration of our anniversary.
Enjoyed Most:
Its proximity to town and the beach.
Enjoyed Least:
The busy street Via Aurelia.
Surrounding Area:
We are students of Italian history and art and enjoyed trips to Pisa, Lucca, and Volterra.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Castiglioncello was a 5-minute walk away. We walked back and forth a couple of times a day.
Tips or Restaurants:
All restaurants that we tried were GREAT! The 2 clay tennis courts in the park across from the railroad station were a great find.
We did not use a GPS. The villa is easy to find.
