It was fantastic! The attention to detail in the architecture and furnishing was beautiful.
The pool area is gorgeous and so peaceful. The house is set up wonderfully for multiple families so that everyone has their own space yet can come together as a group easily.
The AC in the bedrooms made sleeping a joy!
I LOVED that the aqueduct terminated essentially at the property and we could walk to Lucca - you may want to add that somewhere in the materials. As well as the fact that the Via Francigena runs along the property. The hiking trails are endless.
There was very little negative about the property. The only thing I might say is that with the humidity, the towels were difficult to dry and would be folded by housekeeping when they were damp so frequently smelled slightly of mildew. We had to wash them often. Again, a minor inconvenience.
Walking to Lucca, the hiking trails, the accessibility to so much Pisa, Firenze, Cinque Terre, horseback riding, etc.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Guamo. Yes, although the roads were busy. We have a 7 YO and didn't feel comfortable having her walk along the busy roads.
Tips or Restaurants:
There is no need to bring beach/pool towels (which took up a lot of room in our luggage). We enjoyed the Braceria along Via Sottomonte as well as Casina delle rose.
Check In Out:
