Customer Reviews

Overall:
Great. We had been in Italy for three weeks when we arrived at the property. Our week at Bardi di Firenze was the best overall.
Enjoyed Most:
Location Location Location. Everything you would want to do in Florence is just steps away.
Enjoyed Least:
The kitchen is small. However, everything worked and there were no problems using the kitchen.
Surrounding Area:
Museums, churches, shopping, eating, and walking through history.
Tips or Restaurants:
Take a day tour of Tuscany.
Directions:
The directions were fine. We used the GPS. The Conad grocery is right across the street. It is a good reference point if a person is lost.
Check In Out:
Very smooth process.

Location and view of Ponte Vecchio. The Arno river was so beautiful it was hard to believe where we were! Every morning we made coffee, opened windows and soaked in the view!
Enjoyed Least:

Overall:
We have stayed here before and always love coming back!
Enjoyed Most:
The location is perfect and the view amazing!
Enjoyed Least:
Interior courtyard is very noisy for the small single bedroom.
Surrounding Area:
Love the cafe across the street and the grocery store. Easy to get whatever we needed and nice to be away from the Duomo crowd in the summer.
Nearby Events or Locales:
We went to Lucca and Siena by train and bus to Siena. Easy to do!
Tips or Restaurants:
Ear plugs. We love Florence, but you must prepare yourself that you are in a wonderful old city with Vespa noise and cars. It would be very nice for the house to supply ear plugs for each guest. Added touch! They work perfectly and we slept great after we did that!
Directions:
We have been there before but I know some people had a hard time finding the number because the street number is not in order. Possibly tell people to turn in after the gelateria that is at the end of the Ponte Vecchio.
Check In Out:
We love coming here, Tomaso and his family are delightful and so is the doorman. We will be back.

Overall:
Fantastic place, fantastic location, fantastic city. Could not have been better considering the location and the property.
Enjoyed Most:
Living room view and the location of the property. Our host was gracious and very responsive.
Surrounding Area:
The central location provided access to all that Firenze offers.
Nearby Events or Locales:
We did horse back riding in Tuscany which was not walking distance, but it was memorable.
Tips or Restaurants:
Leave you tablets at home as they are easy to misplace in the buzz and hustle of the city.
Directions:
No need to improve the directions. All the taxi drivers could locate it and it is a short distance from the train.

Overall:
Quite enjoyable, quiet side of the Arno. Beautiful view and excellent location away from massive crowds.
Enjoyed Most:
Location; Entry is safe, quiet. View is outstanding.
Enjoyed Least:
Brown bedroom is dreary; yellow bedroom is bright and more inviting. Twin small bedroom is quite small, maybe brighten with some color?
Surrounding Area:
Being able to walk up to Forte Belvedere area and view the city. Cafe/shop across the street for coffee each morning. Grocery store also across the street was excellent and convenient. No need to go elsewhere. It had everything we needed. Good restaurants nearby on Borgo San Jacopo, especially Coniglia. For the best fast, delicious pizza try Gusta Pizzeria in Santo Spirito. Young kids, lively. Entry garden felt safe.
Tips or Restaurants:
Ask how to use the washing machine. Good luxury to have when traveling. WiFi was good.
Directions:
Take a cab, easiest from the airport.
Check In Out:
Thomas was quite pleasant, and very nice to meet us so late. It was around 9 PM. They were kind and accommodating and their English was perfect.
