Overall:
It was wonderful. The view was incredible. Raphael took great care of us and was so helpful.
Enjoyed Most:
The view was wonderful. The deck overlooking the Mediterranean Sea with Capri in the horizon was priceless. The deck furniture allowed us to enjoy it even more especially on warm sunny days even in December. Raphael made sure to take care of any issues that came up.
Enjoyed Least:
The larger bathroom was supposed to have a bathtub which my wife was looking forward to but it had been replaced by a large shower. It was really not a big problem.
Surrounding Area:
It is so quiet in the area. Not much traffic at all and plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby. Once we got used to driving it really did not take much more than 10 or 15 minutes to central Sorrento. Trips along the Amalfi coast were breathtaking. The people we met were so friendly.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Tthe nearest small town was Massa Lubrense. It was within walking distance but it was a pretty steep climb
Tips or Restaurants:
You cannot go wrong with any of the restaurants in the area. Make sure and go to Naples for the best pizza ever at l'Antica san Michelle? which was in the movie "Eat Pray Love". It is not easy to get to that restaurant with Naples traffic, though.
Directions:
You need GPS for anything you do in Italy. But Raphael met us in Sorrento, took us to get groceries and then guided us to the Villa so we had no problem finding it.
Check In Out:
No problem!

Overall:
We did enjoy our stay, although there were some hiccups. We tried to remember we were on vacation and "went with the flow".
Enjoyed Most:
The large patio with ocean views. Rafael, the manager, was extremely accommodating and patient with us. He addressed a number of issues during our stay.
Enjoyed Least:
The lack of shade on the patio during the mid-day heat. The elevator does not work (repaired by Rafael). The fan in the bedroom does not work (repaired by Rafel). The bath with the bathtub is now a shower. This was not what we expected. We were only given 1 towel each and 1 kitchen towel and had to request more.
Surrounding Area:
It was enjoyable to walk to the local marina and have dinner. We also hired a private boat to take us to Capri.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Massa Lubrense is a small town, a difficult walk although we did walk back, downhill. Groceries, lunch, and our driver's office. It was olive harvest time when we were there and observing the process on our walks was interesting.
Tips or Restaurants:
You definitely need a flashlight. Luckily we had two. The walk to the marina for dinner is dimly lit and the walkway uneven. We are coffee drinkers, and we found coffee bags, similar to tea bags, in our local grocery store prior to our trip and with all of the places we stayed, there is an electric tea pot, so having our cup of coffee in the morning was a nice touch.
Directions:
We hired a driver, Persico, at RentVillas recommendation and this proved to be the best option. We did walk up the hill on the first day, but this proved to be too long and steep for a regular option.
Check In Out:
Rafael met us and showed us around the apartment but it took us a few days to get everything functioning.

Overall:
Overall excellent, little stuff getting in and out with the stairs with a person with a cane.
Enjoyed Most:
VIEW WAS OUTSTANDING.....
Enjoyed Least:
Stairs.... should have gotten a rental car. Bus stop was .5 miles up a hill.
Surrounding Area:
The people at the Marina where 1st class .... also the food and service at the marina bar top notch...
Nearby Events or Locales:
Massa Lubrense and was really to far to walk. Was a small store at the marina that had everything we needed and was very helpful.
Tips or Restaurants:
Be prepared to walk and climb steps....bring good shoes.
Directions:
Directions where great, didn't use gps.
Check In Out:
Was great no issues.

Overall:
Our overall experience was very good. We enjoys time out on the deck, good meals and coffe, excellent trips to Capri, Amalfi, Positano and Ischia. The property was very quite
Enjoyed Most:
The view; the proximity to Massa Lubrensa and its restaurants and coffee shops; the ability to walk along the water front to the port; the ability to book boat trips in a tranquil harbour vs Sorrento; the peace and quiet; xpacious suite. The property appears to have many amenities. The property manager Rafaele was excellent and took very good care of us. He was available whenever we called him. He was very patient waiting for us on our arrival date when we had difficulty finding the property. We enjoyed the sunny blue skies, views of the ocean and warm weather. I recommend trips with Lubrensa boats to see Capri, Amalfi, Positano. Our ferry trip from Sorrento to Ischia was excellent. It was good to see Italy from the water and avoid the traffic, narrow roads and hair pin turns. Overall, we felt quite safe in the property.
Enjoyed Least:
Poor lighting in the hallway down to the bedrooms; there was no lighting.
Surrounding Area:
The view, the harbour at massa lubrense, the restaurants, coffee shops, proximity to Sorrento for tours, coffee, dining, shopping. It was nice having local grocers in the area to purchase food on a daily basis. The paths for walking. The ability to attend mass on Sundays at the church in Massa Lubrense. The availability of bus service into Sorrento if one desired. The presence of Persico taxi service which we used for pickup in Naples and transfer back to Naples at the end of the trip.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Massa Lubrense is the nearest small town. It was within walking distance but you have to be careful walking along the side of the road with the traffic. I avoided walking along the road except from the parking lot in Massa Lubrense but even then you have to be careful for the cars and motor cycles that are coming into town. The harbour at Massa Lubrense was in walking distance and we did the walk many times both day and night.
Tips or Restaurants:
All the restaurants in Massa Lubrense and harbours are very good. There are very good coffee shops in town. There are good restaurants in the surrounding area usually less than 12 hour drive. Definitely need to rent a car. Transportation from Naples to Sorrento with Persico and then rent a car. Use google map to find all destinations. Good grocery shopping available for fresh food in Massa Lubrense. Bring mask and snorkel and fins if you like to swim.
Directions:
The GPS did not prove helpful to get to the property. I recommend meeting the property manager in Massa Lubrense perhaps in front of the church and then have him escort you directly to the property. I got lost and unfortunately kept him waiting. He was very patient however.
Check In Out:
Check in and Check out was easy. No problems here. You directions were very helpful especially the need to have copy of passport and cash for damage deposit and cleaning.

Overall:
My sisters, niece, and I enjoyed our visit very much. The villa was gorgeous, exactly as shown on the photos. There were workmen making renovations of some kind on the floor above us, so at times it was noisy. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we would definitely do it again!
Enjoyed Most:
The villa was spacious, great view of Capri across the sea, peaceful surroundings, a balcony that extended the length of the villa.
Enjoyed Least:
The work being done on the floor above was a distraction but we had no other real issues with the property.
Surrounding Area:
Very picturesque fishing village, gorgeous views, pleasant walk along the beach area.
Nearby Events or Locales:
San Montano and Massa Lubrense, both within walking distance, although Massa Lubrense is a bit of a walk uphill.

Renee, October

Overall:
We enjoyed our stay at Giorgia very much and were able to relax. The living space was clean and bright with plenty of space for the four of us.
Enjoyed Most:
The outside patio/deck is the best part of the villa. The view was magnificent, including a view of Capri. There were places to sit and relax on the patio along with a place to eat outside.
Enjoyed Least:
Driving in and out of the villa is difficult especially for a bigger car.
Surrounding Area:
We enjoyed being able to walk to a few restaurants at the marina, the beach and swimming, and Sorrento being a short drive away.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Massa Lubrense is a quaint town minutes from the main road. The Marina at Massa Lubrense is a short walk along the water with three restaurants and a view of Capri.
Tips or Restaurants:
Even though we were told items such as toilet paper, napkins, dish detergent, tissues, etc were not provided, they were available in small quantities. We replenished for the next visitors. The restaurants at the Massa Lubrense Marina were very good with wonderful fresh seafood as well as the Il Cantuccio in Massa Lubrense. The family run restaurant La Torree in Annuziata has wonderful traditional Italian dishes and a delicious family made limoncello. The owners will even pick you up and bring you to the restaurant but have the right address.
Directions:
Our GPS did not pick up the villa with the address but was accurate when the coordinates were put into the GPS. The villa is very easy to find when Raphael is waiting at the top of the hill to take you to the villa.
Check In Out:
Check in/out went very smoothly and quickly.

Overall:
We went as a couple for a relaxing vacation and the trip was fabulous. The villa was spacious, equipped with all necessary amenities and the view from the terrace was breathtaking. We walked the sea walk path every morning to the quaint little harbour for the best cappuccino ever. Our property manager was the best guy in the world, brought us fresh oranges and lemons that were delicious. He provided us with info about the surrounding area, recommended local restaurants that we went to and they were wonderful. We had rented a car which was useful and he provided many tips on driving and parking in the area.
Enjoyed Most:
The view and the terrace absolutely.
Enjoyed Least:
There was nothing about the place not to like.
Surrounding Area:
We went to Sorrento about 10 minutes away twice and enjoyed walking around there, dining outside in the many restaurants and again the views of the ocean and the hillside were fabulous. We also went many times into Lubrense a little town only 1 km away to do most of our grocery and other shopping. We walked a lot of hilly roads seeing lemon, orange and olive groves everywhere. The people were very friendly.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Lubrense was the closest small town and was within walking distance but we didn't walk there as we were shopping.
Tips or Restaurants:
Don't forget the European plug adaptor for your cell phone chargers and the like.
Directions:
Our property manager met us in Sorrento and we followed him to the villa. That was a very much appreciated service !!
Check In Out:
Everything went well checking in and out. Very accommodating and helpful. Thanks again.
